HAGS VINTAGE HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to Hags Vintage Hire only and by placing an order you agree to the following terms and conditions.
The hire period for all items supplied by Hags Vintage Hire will be until 9 pm. Any extension to the hire period must be agreed with Hags Vintage Hire. Please ask for a quotation for longer periods of hire.
Hags Vintage Hire agrees to hire the items to the customer for the period of hire stated in the contract.
The items shall at all times remain the property of Hags Vintage Hire. The customer is solely responsible for the items during the hire period from the time of delivery/collection until the items are collected/returned and accepted back into the possession of Hags Vintage Hire.
Delivery and Collection
Any shortage or damage must be notified by the customer on the delivery at the time of delivery. If the customer fails to do this, the items will be deemed to have been delivered in a clean and undamaged condition. Equally, if there is no-one available to check the items, they will be deemed to have been delivered in a clean and undamaged condition. At the point of delivery there will be a member of the Hags Vintage Hire Team available to assist you
At the end of the hire period, the items should be stored as found, or carefully collected and placed in a safe place as discussed with the wedding venue, Hags Vintage Hire team will return at a time discussed with the customer. There will be a “Collection Inspection” performed by a member of the collection team, if everything is in good working order with no damages or missing products then the return of the Loss/Damage deposit will be arranged
Terms of Payment
A refundable deposit of £100 is required at the point of booking to secure your booking. Total hire charge will be dependent on your package selection. This will secure all items you have specified on your order. The final balance must be paid 28 days prior to your event.
The £100 refundable Loss/damage deposit will be returned once your order has been checked for any damage or loss. We will inform you within 2 working days if there is any damage or loss to your order.
Loss or damage to any items will result in the £100 Loss/Damage deposit not being returned. If all of the products are present and in good working order as they were delivered then your deposit will be returned within 5 working days
Equipment Costings for loss or damage
Coconut balls £3 per ball lost (6 balls hired at a time) any damage to the shy, bunting and coconut poles the deposit will be held until an estimate to repair goods is carried out.
Bean Bags £3 per bean bag lost and £1 per can (6 bags & 15 cans hired at a time) any damage to the tin can alley ladders, barrels, tin can alley shelf or bunting, the deposit will be held until an estimate to repair goods is carried out.
Skittles £20 to replace new set if a piece is lost or damaged ( 8 plain skittles 1 red skittle and 2 balls hired at a time) any damage to the skittle alley,the deposit will be held until an estimate to repair goods is carried out.
Connect 4 £4 per disk lost. Any damage to the Connect 4 itself the despot will be upheld until our cost to repair has been confirmed.
Jenga £20 (if any pieces lost, whole new game would be needed to purchase)
Quoits/Hoopla £40 (pine wood base, 5 Pine uprights , 4 Choir rope throwing hoops included in hire) if any pieces lost, whole new game would be needed to purchase
noughts & crosses (5 crosses, 4 noughts and rope hired at any time) if any pieces lost, whole new game would be needed to purchase
Any other damage or repairs required to any of our games ,an estimate will be done and repair payments will be needed within 24 hours
If the customer wishes to cancel the order, Hags Vintage Hire must be notified in writing.
The following cancellation charges will apply (Notice given prior to an event)
More than 30 days – 50% of total charge
15-29 days – 75% of total charge
Under 14 days – 100% of total charge
Hags Vintage Hire reserve the right to cancel a hire in poor weather, where there is a considered risk to health and safety. When a cancelation is necessary the hirers costs are refunded. This will be discussed with hirer before any cancellation takes place.
Hags Vintage Hire will accept no responsibility for damage or injury to persons or venue property as a result of this hire arrangement.
For your peace of mind we strongly recommend that you take out suitable insurance as all items are the responsibility of the hirer until collected by/returned to Hags Vintage Hire. Any loss, damage or breakage will be charged accordingly.
